The outbreak of frost and cold wave continues in Madhepura district. Due to the effect of cold wave and frost, the possibility of adverse effect on the health of children studying in schools / pre-school / Anganchadi centers cannot be ruled out.

Therefore, as per the order issued by this office DB No. 0-31/V dated 13-01-2024, I, Shri Vijay Prakash Meena, IAS, District Magistrate, Madhepura under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, all the private persons of Madhepura district I extend the ban imposed on educational activities for classes 01 to 08 in government schools (including pre-schools and Anganwadi centres) till 20-01-2024. The educational activities of classes above class 09 will be conducted with adequate caution as before. Mission Daksh and special classes conducted for board exams will be exempted from this.
District Education Officer, Mayepura District Program Officer, I.C.D.S., Madhepura. Sub-Divisional Officer, Madhepura Udakishunganj, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Madhepura Udakishunganj, all Executive Officers, City Council, Nagar Panchayat, all Block Development Officers, Madhepura District, all Circle Officers, Madhepura District and all Police Station Heads, OP Chairman Madhepura District are directed that this order Will ensure strict compliance.
The above order will remain effective till 20-01-2024. This order was issued on 16-01-2024 under the free signature and seal of the court.
